All about me
I am a single mother of two that was born in Jamaica of Scottish parents and moved to northern Belize when I was just three. I went away to boarding school and University in Scotland where I obtained a degree in Hospitality Management.
Belize has always been where my heart is and so I returned home after University, moved to Placencia and started my career in the hotel industry. In 1999 I had my first son and realized that there was no way I could juggle the hotel world and being a parent. Seems it was the perfect break to discover my creative side.
I have always loved art and photography but it never occurred to me that I might also be good at it. Over the years I have dabbled in various hand painted crafts, sewing, pastels and acrylics but photography has truly become my passion. I do not have any formal training in photography but have been taking photos all my life. I rarely leave home with out a camera!
